Aromatherapy 4 Learning, Studying, Tests & Exams

A teacher wrote in and asked about using aromatherapy in school with children in class, to aid learning, lessen stress, and in tests and exam situations, which essential oils work best and which blends.

Here are my recommendations for using aromatherapy in learning and remembering for children; and also an additional article on which essential oils to use for mature students to improve studying, learning, memory and recall of the studied materials for tests and exams, and even, later on in life should they ever need to remember beyond the exam.

Organic Essential Oils - Worth It, Or Not?

Essential oils produced from organically grown plants are much more expensive than those produced from generally farmed plants.

In this product test I'm comparing Bergamot essential oil in both version to discover whether the higher price for organic essential oils is worth it - or not.

Pennyroyal Essential Oil Clears Disease Energy Fields

Pennyroyal is much maligned as being oh so dangerous – this is the same old story again about all the essential oils. It is no more dangerous than aspirin, which is sold freely over the counter, and in aroma energy work, we don’t take it internally nor do we even put it on our skin so that’s triply safe then.

With that out of the way, Pennyroyal, a member of the mint family, has some exquisite and extraordinarily useful energetic effects and actions.

Divine Sage - Getting High On Salvia

I started to search the three – Salvia Lavendulifolia, Spanish Sage; Salvia Officinalis, Wild Sage; and Salvia Triloba, also known as Sage Triloba.

As soon as I put in the word “Salvia”, the search engine exploded with references to Salvia Divinorum, of which, I admit, I hadn’t heard a thing.

Price Per Drop Of Essential Oils?

It is actually quite difficult to compare prices amongst aromatherapy essential oils. A bottle of Valerian might cost ten pounds, or twenty - but read the small print and there may be only 5ml in a 10ml bottle, or 3ml in a 5ml bottle.

But what is a milliliter when it is at home? How many drops are in a milliliter? I've calculated a price "penny per drop" for some of the most popular aromatherapy essential oils to give us a bit of a guideline in this minefield of sizing and pricing.

Aromatherapy – More Magic Than “Science”

I heard a report yesterday that 21% of the general adult population had tried some form of aromatherapy. Aromatherapy draws people strongly towards it, being the most popular choice for alternative or complementary treatment and healing, but the amazing thing about this is that people have the LOWEST expectations of actually getting over their troubles with aromatherapy, as a study by Professor Suzanne McDonough of the University of Ulster shows.

There are two other aromatherapy oils I often recommend for reducing anxiety, one works particularly well with reducing anxiety in children.
